Core Values

VINEYARD MERIDIAN VISION, MISSION & CORE VALUES

Our Vision (This answers the question: What is God’s mandate for us?)

Our vision is… raising up an army of Jesus-followers who partner daily with the Holy Spirit to bring the reality and power of the Kingdom of Heaven into our culture with radical love!

Our Mission (This answers the question: Why are we doing all we are doing?)

Our mission is to bring hope and healing to the families of Meridian, the Treasure Valley, the Northwest region, and the nations of the world by helping them encounter Jesus through radical love, healing, signs and wonders, and the proclamation of the Good News that the Kingdom of Heaven is now here, and the day of salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound! (See Luke 4:18-19).

Core Values

The Manifest Presence of God (We are hungry to know God’s presence, hear His voice and follow hard after Him.)

A Culture of Honor (We value relationship with one another, expressed by genuine love, integrity, honesty, openness, and humility, and our desire is to empower one another to fulfill our destinies and become all that God desires.)

Unity (We are convinced that all who belong to Christ are one in His Body, the Church. Our aim is to maintain unity
by honoring all who call on Jesus’ name according to His Word and by seeking reconciliation with all parts of the
Church).

The Truth of God’s Word   (We believe that the Bible, God’s Word, was given by divine inspiration, inerrantly revealing
the will of God concerning us in all things necessary to our salvation).

Discipleship (Our intent is to teach all believers to rely on Jesus’ words, obey His commands, and do His works. Our first aim is to first grow as disciples of Christ ourselves and then to make disciples of others).

Heartfelt Worship (We give ourselves unreservedly to God by worshipping Him in spirit and in truth with all our heart,
mind, soul and strength).

The Manifestation of the Kingdom of God (Our desire is to bring the present fulfillment of the Kingdom of God to bear upon our culture, through the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit, seeing God heal and work wonders.)

Purity & Holiness (We desire that through the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus‘ love, mercy, grace, truth, purity, power,
and integrity would shine through all that we are and do).

The Pursuit of Wholeness (We encourage everyone to pursue inner healing and freedom, and to receive ministry for
this purpose).

Prayer (We believe that prayer is essential because, both corporately and individually, it is what empowers the ministries of our church.)

Servant Leadership (We believe that Christ has put significant leadership authority in the hands of the pastor and other leaders. Our aim is to exercise that authority with humility, selflessness, grace, care, and a sincere desire to build up the Body of Christ.)

The Mercy of God (We believe that mercy is fundamental to all that God does in salvation. Therefore, our desire is to extend mercy to one another and to all to whom we minister.)

Being Culture Current (Our aim is to develop an atmosphere of ease, and to speak, act, and dress in ways in which our culture can respond positively, without compromising the message of God’s Word. For example, this value is reflected through worship that is of a popular style.)

Authenticity (We wish to do nothing for “religious effect” but rather to operate in natural non-hype patterns, doing the ministry of Jesus with joy.)

Cultural Transformation (We desire to be light in the darkness, the salt of the earth, walking encounters with Jesus, changing the atmosphere wherever we go, bringing hope, love, and healing to everyone.)
